Hyacinth are a great flower for this time of year because they're widely available and smell like heaven. But don't cut off those woody stems!

Adore Floral is an adorable flower shop on Lafayette Street between Bond & Bleecker Streets. It's a favorite stop of mine when I need some higher quality buds for a dinner party or just want something a little more festive around the house. They have a wonderful selection of bright colors and varietals and the staff is always helpful when answering questions about flower care.
