Inaugural Style

Next week President Barack Obama will be sworn in for a second term and Washington will light up with celebrations that come around only once every four years.  All attention will turn to Mrs. Obama and her choice of Inaugural Gown - an outfit that made many a first lady famous before her.  Mrs. O has a history of getting it just right and we can't wait to see what she chooses.

But what about you Washingtonians who will be lucky enough to snag an invitation to the Commander-In-Chief's ball?

Well we can't imagine a more fun outfit than one that is sophisticated and timeless.  And being that it's January, it must include fur!  Coral is an unexpected color for this time of year (although Jessica Alba managed it quite beautifully at the Golden Globes, don't you think?) but would look fabulous with color-blocked lipstick and a retro updo.  Low heels are tasteful and easy to dance in.  White gloves will make you feel marvelously chic!

If any of you EOS readers do attend, won't you snap us a picture?  We are just green with envy!
